How can one believe in what one can’t see? A little faith here, some trust there; its like knowing that there’s air around us and not seeing it; the only way to see the unseen is the to believe.

The same goes with achievement; only those who believe in their cause can achieve what’s in their state of mind. In other words, mind over matter.  It’s the only way to survive these days in world being turned inside out.

Time and time again for the short while that I’ve been on this planet I’ve heard countless times, “It’s the end of the world!” Well guess what? I’m still here! First it was Y2K, then SARS, then West Nile, currently H1N1 and soon 2012…

We’re all entitled to our own opinion so here is mine, if you really believe in the 2012 prediction then congratulations; you are currently wasting your time by reading this, by going to school or by sleeping. Instead, you should be partying like its 2012 tomorrow.

Can MAN predict when the world is going to end; the day, the time, the hour? Personally, I don’t believe in the Nostradamus predictions no matter how many have come true; read the Bible and you’ll experience things that no man of science can explain; everything Nostradamus and others have predicted was already written in the Bible.

On a regular daily basis I hear parents scolding their child, about how they don’t listen or do the opposite of what there told but in reality its just a cycle of ignorance. Parents don’t listen to their kids because they seem to know everything and kids don’t listen to their parent because they also know everything. If some parents would take the time to actually listen to their kids then maybe, just maybe, we could make some progress.

Here are some tips parents could use to help their relationships with their kids:

1: When you’re talking to your kids shut up and listen to what they’re saying.

2: If they (kid(s) don’t like something, for example pickles, don’t give them extra pickles in there burger.

3: When your talking to your kids and they aren’t listening to you don’t tell them to shut up, that’s the biggest turn off you could do, simply tell them to wait till your done.

Communication is a must, as well as effective listening; it is the key to any relationship. When you’re not getting through to your kids just be patient and refrain from vulgar dialog no one likes being spoken down to, so talk to everyone as you wish to be spoken to.
